Equipped with an Albada type built-in bright frame with parallax compensation, this Nikon camera renders correction of aberrations by automatically compensating the parallax errors. Incorporating the vertical-travel metal focal-plane shutter, this Nikon underwater film camera lets you capture images one after the other without much delay. This Nikon camera comes with an interchangeable NIKONOS mount which allows you to mount different lenses with focal length. This Nikon underwater film camera includes a pull-out type with film rewind crank which allows you to easily go forward to the next frame. Nikonos film camera is wonderful
For the more experienced film photographers or for those wishing to learn through experience. I recommend pushing color slide to 400 (2x). Set focus close to infinity, f8, 1/125 for 1 to 10 feet from surface in strong sun. Drop 1/60 for lower light or direct sun between 10 and 30 feet. Exhale while releasing the shutter to minimize buoyancy. Don't be afraid to experiment and to use B&W film when photographing other divers or swimmers from below. Surprised with sharppness and quality of images
I bought this for a rugged environment low cost camera. I was surprised with the sharpness and quality of the images. It does an outstanding job so much so that I purchased the80mm lens to go with the 35mm which came on this Nikonos body. These are a great bargain on Ebay.
