American girl books are the best!
My daughter is 7 years old, she’ll enjoy these more after age 8-9 as the books indicate age level on the back cover.

Wholesome and Quality Historical Fiction for Girls
I love the American Girl Historical characters. They provide a relatable way for my daughter to connect to the past. In the story of Cecile and Grace-Marie, my daughter enjoyed how close two friends shared life despite all the differences in the world surrounding them.

Well-written, fun books
