Would have worked well, but displayed some damage
I have an older one that I must have bought over 10 years ago, but the "red channel" ( Right Front) connect to the subwoofer quit working; I bought this same one from Ebay in the hopes that the subwoofer would be intact and working. My satellite speakers all work well and the satellites from this one work as well - minus the fifth middle satellite - but the subwoofer displayed intermittent sound and crackles through the speakers, as well as insulation damage to the main cable connecting the control unit. I just gave up and went to the local computer store (Microcenter in the city of Irvine) and bought the latest, new version of Logitech's 5.1 audio set, Z906, and retired both sets of these other, older speakers. The Logitech X-540s worked wonderfully (at least mine did when it was new) but the one I bought from Ebay, hoping to keep using the set, had something wrong with it. I have another Logitech unit of the same...
I have another Logitech unit of the same model, and I needed parts to fix mine and missing one speaker was not an issue. Works great and back to BOOM BOOM again. They do not make PC 5.1 stereo systems that kick like this anymore with Super Bass and medal speakers that take a beating over the years. 5 Stars!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
