Her psychology background and in depth knowledge of the Sam Tyler case lead her to dismiss her predicament as a vivid hallucination. Nevertheless, with crime rife on the streets of 1980's London, and a police team not very receptive to modern career women, Alex has a lot to prove before she can figure out how to get home.<BR><BR><BR>The second series of the time-bending ASHES TO ASHES continues where the first series left off. With the mystery surrounding the death of her parents now solved, Alex desperately seeks to find out how she has become trapped in the past, but must first unravel a conspiracy within her department that involves police corruption, a wealthy entrepreneur and a shadowy Superintendent involved with the Free Masons.<BR><BR>The story continues, only this time around its 1983. Offbeat but brilliant 'cop show'.
This follow up series to the earlier Life On Mars is another brilliant mix of 'cop show' but with the added mix of time travel elements and also, one comes to realise, certain 'occult' issues. In many ways I prefer it to the original series, the female protaganist sent back in time to an earlier era of policing in the Eighties is an attractive and engaging character, plus all the old familiar characters from the earlier series plus some new ones are a great supporting cast. The 'hero' of the piece is again the amazing Gene Hunt, who one eventually realises is carrying out another important job alongside his policing role, in ensuring the safety of his team. It would be a spoiler to reveal much more but I will add that The Devil masquerading as another senior officer shows up in the latter episodes.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Well worth purchading

Great Series. A must have collection.
Life on Mars was a great series, a reminder of how life has chaged over the decades. Ashes to Ashes is a much more intruiging series, great charecters and plots. A must have collection you can watch over and over again. Highly reccomend it.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
