Good escapism in these dark times.
Excellent production - very influential - you can find echoes of this 1982/4 in later films such as R Hood, Prince of Thieves, R Hood with Jonas Armstrong, The Holy Grail and others. And for that, you can forgive the bloodless wussy fight scenes, the quality of the film it was shot on and so forth. When this one wears out, I shall buy another one.
