One benefit of the eco-mode setting includes less power consumption, using just 0.2 watts in stand-by mode and increasing the lamp life up to 5000 hours as well. The NEC projector also includes power management settings, which will force the device to turn off automatically if there is no signal detected after a certain length of time. The NEC NP-M300WS has an XGA native resolution of 1024x768 pixels, a UXGA maximum resolution of 1600x1200 pixels, and a contrast ratio of 2000:1. This device is great to use in large settings, and includes a 10-watt speaker to add powerful audio to any presentation. With brightness levels of 3000 ANSI lumens, the LCD projector is sure to provide crisp and vivid imaging with every use. Old generation but still perfect for current pricing
Its native resolution is 1280x800 but it will accept HDMI 1080p signal from laptop, bluray/game machine. With short throw only need to place it on the floor 5ft from wall to get 150" picture, almost full-height on wall. Picture is bright, sharpness depends on your input source. Very Good Unit
For years i'ave been running away from NEC projectors, Why? I really don't know, this unit I bought second hand on ebay turn out to be one of my best short throw projectors, I was so impress with the image that I could not believe my eyes, the image was so vivid It took my breath away, I will take back all the bad things I'ave been saying about NEC product and give them 5 Big Stars.
