Akasa Venom Pico CPU Cooler. Venom pico is a unique cooler combining high performance with great value and striking looks. The PWM function ensures quiet operation during normal system use and performance cooling under load.
This is the second Venom Pico cooler I've used, the previous one was around 10 years ago on an old Dell AM3 system. For the price you really cannot go wrong with these coolers, they are fairly well built and the fan operates extremely quietly. Fitting is a piece of cake, and you use either the regular push pins for Intel, or the retention bracket for AMD.
My only gripe with this heatsink is that if you use it on an AMD socket, the fan is upside down and sucks the air upwards (effectively drawing in air from a hot GPU below), which is due to the retention bracket. Whereas on the Intel sockets due to the use of push pins, you can mount it any way you like. Not the best design really, and you can get other equally good coolers that will face the correct way for similar money.
However to conclude, I would still recommend this cooler to anyone.
