Historic blues. The foundation of the music we know today
Producers have done a very nice job of compiling and preserving some of the most influential early blues with this CD. It is nice to hear these cuts in their original form. Having said that, if you want to listen to these great songs in a more fully developed composition, purchase the Johnston tribute album by Eric Clapton. His rendition of these classics is the very best.

Old School Blues
This is great old school blues with nothing more than a 6 string guitar that sounds like it could be missing a string and Robert Johnson himself. I would highly recommend for the Blues purist. This is guitar and man only so know what you are getting into before you buy.
