Based on William Golding's classic novel, Lord of the Flies is a disturbing tale of conflict and savagery. A plane carrying a group of schoolboys crashes on a remote tropical island. No adults survive but forty boys emerge unhurt. Under their elected leader, Ralph (James Aubrey), the boys try to preserve their social discipline and survive, but Jack (Tom Chaplin), the head of a group of choirboys, starts a battle for leadership and the boys divide into two rival groups. frighteningly possible and well acted by the young cast
this story is a real possibility. put a group of frightened pre teens in a desperate situation such as the story suggests and you could end up with total chaos and an entire pack of uncontrollable animals. with no morals, values, discipline, empathy, common sense, understanding of consequences or ability to interact with others so I thought it was extremely well made and realisticBestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

A very good film with a surprising ending.
I enjoyed the story. It was somewhat based on an apparently true story of boys who got into trouble while out sailing on a small boat. However, in the film, it was given a more thrilling account of what really happened, but all the same, it was a good story.
