It's Title "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" sums up exactly what it is!
There are dozens of versions of Huckleberry Finn available. I found, as a teacher, that in using this NPR Series, that this is by far the best and closest to the actual story than any version of Huckleberry Finn I have ever seen. And I've seen many! For one example, almost all versions either sugar-coat the feud between the Grangerfords and Shepherdsons, or leave it out completely, this one was very accurate in relating that chapter. Another thing most other versions leave out is the part where Tom shows up, and together with Huck, hatches a plot to rescue Jim. All in all, I think it's an outstanding version and found it very difficult to find DVD versions of this classic. I was elated to find this one. Patrick Day is wonderful playing Huckleberry. I think anyone who enjoyed the Mark Twain story of this adventurous lad helping a slave escape to freedom, will love this movie based entirely on that story.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
