Prompt delivery.
Solid shaving soap for use with a brush. Have always liked the smell of this brand- a fairly old recipe with a distinctive tobacco aroma. Lathers reasonably in quite hard Thames water. Promptly & efficiently dispatched.

Luxury shave soap
This soap has been around since 1957. It has stood the test of time providing a creamy lather that is easy to lather with either synthetic or natural brushes. The post shave face feels smooth and refreshed. I can find no reference to tobacco scent being used in the product but it is a complex scent profile and quite strong. Personally I love it. By in glass jar first and top up with refills. A quality product at a very reasonable price. Recommended.

One of the finest, creamy and great smelling products ever tried
From the the first use of this soap I was wandering what brush should I use. But to be honest performs well with any kind of brush even with best or black badger. On the other hand the as a semi hard soap pairs even better with my board Semoge 1305. As a performance I would say that the creamy texture of its lather is the best of its kind! As a tallow soap I was expecting to be a better emollient for my extra dry skin. Maybe this is the only downside that I found compared to others. Last but not least the smell is quite addictive. The first days after I bought it I was opening the puck bowl to smell it!

Superb product..
I originally bought the full shaving bowl, after having sublimes shaves with it, i came across the refill and thought i would purchase it, and add it to my shaving den, this is a wonderful ols school classic scented shaving soap, which some people will probably not take to, but i personally like it..it's performance, is outstandingly good.

Best shaving soap.
I have used Wilkinson Sword, Arko and various others including a hand made one from the Highlands, but Tabac is definitely the best one. Put it on with the brush, then re-dip the brush in hot water and brush again brings a rich creamy lather, instead of washing away like some of the others; it seems to moisturise as well. Subtle fragrance and long lasting. Can't recommend this high enough if you like a traditional shave. It even makes me want to consider a cut throat razor again!! My Dad used Tabac and now I know why.

Frothy and nice smell.
Since I bought this for my husband, I can't really say how it feels. He says its great and by the look of his soap dish it produces good froth?. I also like the smell.

Good value does the job.
This soap is easy to lather with a brush, unlike some other shaving soaps I have used. Little fragrance but not an issue for me. Have used this soap over many years for double edge shaving.

New favourite
I find this preferable to previous, more expensive, London brands. Doesn't smell as nice, but quickly produces a thick, non-fling, almost sticky lather if the brush is not too wet (so it doesn't splatter the bathroom and mirror, which leads to a more peaceful life!). True Germanic efficiecy!

Great shaving soap.
I've used this shaving soap for a few years now, it has a lovely aroma and works up to a thick creamy lather.

One of the best soaps out there.
There's a reason Tabac has been around so long.I've got over 30 soaps and i'd put this against any of them.Great slickness,cusion and glide and a clean soapy barbershop scent.It's always in my rotation of soaps can't fault it.As always YMMV.
