Highly recommended
We have one at work which sounded good so I decided to get one for my own workshop. I was surprised at the excellent sound quality and at how easy it was to set up, it takes the LXT battery so I didn't have to buy different batteries. Overall a great sounding quality and robust radio

very happy
LOVE the old radios, and they have a great sound. Only one problem, has a slight problem with the volume knob which crackles when you touch it but it can certainly belt out a tune. Very happy

Great Product
Great Quality and sound for it's size. Can use pretty much all the Makita Batteries available which makes it even more flexible.

Good, robust, but nothing special
Not really sure why everyone raves about these. I mean it’s good quality and robust but doesn’t do anything special. No Bluetooth, very bassy which you can’t adjust and doesn’t pick up dab+ Other good brands out there similarly priced that do much more.

Best price i could find on the web, great reception with DAB. Battery last quite a while. Good sturdy radio, great when on a big job

Good value but ..
My only issue was .and I know it sounds strange but .it was clean but it was like it had been wipe clean with a greasy cloth .and it smelled the same .other than that .spot on
