Samsung = 5* Innovative design....3* performance...(?)
Beautifully designed; slim and compact with the eject button located, (where it should be), on top of the device and not below the cd/media carriage. Unlike other comparable slim cd/dvd writers; The Samsung SE-208 is also weighted wonderfully so it is less likely to skid around on a surface while attempting to load/eject media discs or connected cable influence. Unfortunately burning music CDs with the SE-280 on a Samsung 7Spin Convertible, i7-6500CPU, 3.0GHZ, 16GB ram, USB 3.0 did not do so well. Minimal tasks running in the background and even switching to a heavier gauge USB cable, the results were consistent as Cds would skip and not play correctly. However the device achieved flawless results burning CDs connected to a 15 year old AMD desktop, 2gb ram running Win XP. As with any device/technology; results may vary. The Samsung SE-208 slim is still among the best that I have purchased despite it's shortcomings (based on my experience).

Fantastic cd player comes with a longer cable than all others offered.
This cd player performs without any problems. Plays regular and mp3 disc. Driver available on line. Seller desires an A+ rating.
