Well worth the price.

It’s a Fluke

Fluke always a quality product.
Unit is of outdated technology, but I wanted a benchtop unit and for the price it is a good deal/ The LCD display does leave a lot to be desired but I found a link on UTube where an upgrade can be easily fabricated to replace the existing LCD display.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Functional
The 8050A units are notorious for weak LCD displays. The first unit I received the display was not working at all. The second one I received the display is weak, but readable. Great value in a vintage benchtop meter.
Accurate, Easy to use, durable and versatile. The weak point of these meters are the batteries, but only on the meters with the battery option.. Without good batteries they will not work, even when plugged in to the wall plug. Batteries are an easy fix as they can be replaced with commonly available NI-Cad batteries. The meter is needed addition to my repair bench.

Converted 2 of Flukes to AC only by removing batteries, using LM7805. Happy with results. FEDEX left package at back door subject to rain. No cover
