Quality but not recommended
I heard a lot about Micarta handles. So finally I got a set for my BK9 knife. I was truly disappointed. I don’t see what the big deal is all about. There is no great increase in grip. No great difference in density over wood. I see no advantage in this material. I put the original plastic one back on and rapped a little rubber tape around and the handle works great. If your into Micarta go for it. Not for me.

Micarta Handle For Kabar Becker BK7
Micarta Handles and the original equipment BK7 Handles are identical in feel, grip and design. The only advantage is appearance at which the Tan Micarta handles look like wood handles. The handles are a good value and quality if the wood look is what you want but if you want better grip wrap you handles with traction tape and be happy. They look Great and make for a custom look.

Becker Micarta are outstanding!
The fit and finish are very good and grip is greatly improved over the stock grips, even when wet. A great investment for the awesome Becker knives.

Good grip
Got this knife and immediately went on a bushcrafting extravaganza. Stock handles did become slippery when I got sweaty due to the extreme heat and humidity of my area. Put on these handles and the texture was definitely an aid when chopping and performing other tasks.

BK9 scale upgrade
Perfect scale upgrade. Across the board, everyone knows that you will have to upgrade the sheath and the scales on a BK9. These scales fit perfectly, great grip, makes the knife look and function better!

Great Grips
Much better than stock handles. I highly recommend them. No need to dye them but they can be dyed easily. I am letting mine dye naturally with hand oils.

BK-7 Scales
These are really well made and the fit is perfect. I recieved them in less than a week,great service. If you own a BK and aren't happy with the factory Scales, you should try a set of these.

Great stuff!
These scales really improve the look and feel of the Becker knives. I used tung oil to give them some color

A must have.
Changing out the plastic handles the Becker knives are shipped with, is one of the best uppgrades you can do to the knife. It is highly reccommended.
