Nice camera - don't forget a memory card.
Most cameras and camcorders give you a paltry memory card that allow you to take a few minutes of footage just to get you started, but which is too small for any real use. This camera comes with no such card, so it's an expensive paperweight until you source a memory card from somewhere else. And as it's quite light, it's not even a good paperweight. The software is also cumbersome and ungainly, but the camera itself is a delight. Plugs into a USB port for charging or exporting; high-quality video with good colour balance and decent sound. Also works with external mics and other equipment. Once up and running, the camera is excellent. Great, but as an achilles heal
Its a terrific Camcorder. I love the way the holding cable doubles as your usb lead. Its very lightweight, and the quality s great, my one bugbear is its recording everything in Avchd and MP4. The MP4 is greatly inferior, but when I try loading the Avchd into my PowerDirector for editing, it loses all the audio. Very good camcorder
