Lovely candy: available only when cherries are ripe.
I love these. In the US they are easy to to confuse the consumer as the American MON CHERI has a hazelnut within (Rather than a cherry with Kirsch "Cherry Brandy"). I first had these in Germany. We had Mon Cheri and chanpagne as we were playing Gin Rummy (card game). It was an enjoyable evening. The Kirsch is quite strong, counter balanced by the sweetness of the cherry. Lovely counterpoint. Great Chocolate Available from Germany

If you love real Mon Cheri-this is a deal!
The price was very good for a product that you can't usually find here in the US. It was fairly close-dated, but that doesn't really mean much. It'll be gone long before it goes bad! Package was damaged
Despite the candy boxes being wrapped individually and in two layers of bubble wrap each, one of the boxes was cracked very badly which led to the liquid (brandy) in some of the candy pieces to leak out and create quite a mess. I cannot know with any certainty at what point in the transportation process did this occur. The other box of candy arrived with no issues. Unfortunately, I had to give the gift early as I wasn’t sure the candy would keep until Christmas. Other than that, the items arrived in good time. Mon Cheri chocolates

Love this candy...
This is so hard to get in the USA these days and even harder to get it in that little window of time where the weather is right to get it shipped from Germany so it's not too warm and the candy stays fresh. Delights the taste buds.
