An early Nikon digital body that still performs. Top notch metering yields outstanding exposures. Bought to use as a light meter that allows previewing composition and exposure for film shooting. Great old camera.
I purchase one for my truck and one for my grandson. This is a great old camera. At this price I don't have to worry about it getting damaged or stolen or dropped by an 8 year old future photographer. Very happy.
Very nice camera for a nubee to digi SLR. I like the automatic features. It does not make movies, but I did not want that feature anyway. The 6 megapixel limit is fine for my purposes. Still as good in 2020 as it was back in 2004!
The Nikon D70s is still as impressive (and fun) as it was back in 2004. Modern cameras are just better, but if you don't need 4K wallpapers or large prints, for social media and online use, 6MP is not only enough resolution, but more than enough. This is a TERRIFIC camera!
I'm the definition of an amateur photographer, and while I think I have a good "eye," I've never had the camera that could help me take the pictures I see. I also knew that so many famous photos were taken on the gold standard used by combat photographers and photojournalists: Nikon. I never thought I could afford one of these great cameras, but I found one on eBay, and it's better than I could've hoped for.
