It works but not as expected.
I have a Mac Pro 2008 and was looking for a way to output 4k video. The card supports 4k 60 via the display port. What I did not know is it will not boot up on the display port. So I have to plug in a DVI connection as well so that the system will boot up. I can't really use the dvi connection beyond boot up because it only does 4k 30, which looks jacked up on my 4k monitor. In the end, I still got 4k, but it requires a work around a little frustration. I really look forward to a mac mini with 4k 60.
