When you take a first glance at these B652 audio units, you'll love the black appearance of the exterior. In fact, this dark hue is actually a black ebony pica vinyl cabinet finish that gives it an old-fashioned appearance. With only a 6.5-inch depth, these powerful Dayton Audio speakers can fit onto nearly any shelf or table.These units are collectively known as bookshelf speakers. Because they're just under 12 inches tall, they are extremely easy to tuck away in a corner. Their 7-inch width also gives you versatility during installation. Because each Dayton Audio speaker weighs slightly more than 5 pounds, you should install the units on a solid surface with good stability. If you can create a stable fastener on the wall, there is a keyhole cutout on the rear of the unit that allows it to be hung easily.The two-way compact speaker has an excellent sound quality that may surprise you, but this clarity is due to a strong construction matched with three to four fasteners holding each dome in place. Before you wire up the home theater units, take a close look at the cones underneath the removable grille. The woofer is measured at 6.5 inches wide, and it's made out of polypropylene. For those high-frequency sounds, enjoy the less than 1-inch wide tweeters. Each unit has one tweeter made out of polycarbonate. It's possible to hook up a more than 9-foot long cable to the speakers, and as a result, the treble, midrange, and bass frequencies will quickly vibrate into your ears.Don't worry about a frustrating air port along the backside of this product because the box is entirely enclosed. Excellent speakers, in a small package, and a great price!
The Dayton Audio B652 6-1/2" 2-Way Bookshelf Speaker Pair is an EXCELLENT value, at a hair under $40.00, with free shipping. The sound quality is excellent, and the size is quite manageable. With a CD signal, or an FM radio program, turning up my PYLE PT390AU receiver results in a loud, clear sound from the B652 loudspeakers. Midrange & high-end frequencies are crisp, and low-end bass is better than most small speakers can reproduce. My wife is surprised that she can hear & understand our stereo, from any room in our house, now that we have these speakers. Clarity is the same, regardless of volume level. The housing is vinyl-wrapped particle board, but it is attractive. The grilles are cloth-covered, and are removeable. There is a keyhole hanger, on the back of each speaker, for wall-mounting. The cabinets also have dense, foam feet, is you want to stand them on some hard surface. I have them laying down, on an actual bookshelf. I am waiting on a powered subwoofer, just to satisfy my need for even more bottom end! Low Cost- far better than expected.
I ordered this inexpensive set of Dayton’s to step in as the highs in a mini amp 2.1 setup. I was using some 8 ohm tiny generics for full range in an attempt to protect the cheap 2.1 amp. The “Breeze Audio” claims wattages of 50x2 for full range and 100x1 for the subwoofer- I doubted the claims of compatibility with such a range of impedance. I never introduced the bass to my previous highs. These B652’s had such clarity I thought what the hell- let’s see what they can do. These speakers handled real full range and as much power as the power supply and amp could throw at them. B652 = The B52 of Speakers
Dayton has hit a home run. This speaker sounds great for its size. Size is the key here. It will not fill a large room with good sound. However, a medium to small room, and these things will surprise you. Full bass, excellent highs with decent dispersion. I put them in a window, (tactile rubber on the bottoms, kills vibration), all I can say is WOW! Played with a decent amp and not too loud, these speakers will do the job. Compact speakers for a compact price.
I like the speakers I purchased. I like the compact size, clarity of sound. I feel they are a good value for the price, without having to spend a fortune. I would recommend them to anyone who is on a budget. The only improvement that could me made is if they could handle a higher power output. These little speakers Thump
I paired these bookshelf speakers with a little $30 Amp and I am really impressed with the outcome! The speakers have a good solid sound that you can't beat for the price. They get loud, decent bass response and provide a great value.

I really didnt expect much for 40 dollar speakers. Especially being small ones at that. Boy was i wrong. i ran these guys with an ns 10g 100 watt amp and the sound and clarity is very, very good. I would definitly buy another pair soon for my billiards room.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Very happy, these sound like the good old days!
These speakers are just right for my apartment! I should have known after using my old smaller pair for so long that 6-1/2 inches was the diameter of the speaker itself, not the box! It was a pleasant surprise that these were much larger than I expected. Size wasn't an issue anyway and they are easy to mount right on the wall or shelf. They sound great! I'm in a small apartment in a Senior Complex so volume is a small issue... Did get a few chances to crank them up with some Grateful Dead on the turntable and was very pleased! Good Looking speakers and perform okay but not spectacular sound. Using as a rear surround set of speaker whereas my front pair are a set of Boston Acoustics A40's which outperform these quite a bit.
