    minimal DVD of a very good movie

    At least it's ON DVD...finally. This 1st anthology film from Amicus (they made 7) is both entertaining and fun. It also showcases the acting talents of Lee and Cushing. Peter Cushing plays a mysterious immigrant fortune teller, complete with convincing accent, and Christopher Lee is a fussbudget and art critic. Different roles for both and both are flawless. The DVD has zero extras, not even a trailer. It doesn't look like the original film/negative was digitized. More like a master analog tape source was digitized. Even so, it's better than no DVD at all. No regrets buying it.

    I’ve been looking for this for a while, saw it at a Saturday matinee when I was 7-8 gave Me nightmares had to watch it again
