Rebellion's stealth shooter series returns with a new focus on open gameplay and all the gruesome slow-motion kills gamers expect in Sniper Elite III. Players once again take on the role of American OSS agent Karl Fairburne as he heads to the rocky desert landscapes of North Africa during WWII to battle the Nazis and prevent them from building a super weapon. The varied terrain and expansive environments give gamers the freedom to plan their missions, plot their escape routes, and kill their targets in a variety of ways, including long-range, short-range, and melee assaults.<br><br>Players gain experience points and earn sniper ranks as they kill members of the Afrika Korps, unlocking more than 40 rifle parts along the way. The signature Kill-Cam returns, with the inclusion of full musculature and circulatory systems adding even more detail to the slow-motion depictions of bullets piercing flesh, while the new Vehicle Kill-Cam offers the same X-ray vision when gamers disable jeeps, trucks, and tanks. Multiplayer fans can take on five different competitive modes for up to 12 combatants, or they can join a friend for new Survival missions, classic sniper/operative Overwatch missions, or a co-op version of the main campaign.<br><br>This ultimate edition offers the full original game as well as all of its previously released DLC, including the three-part "Save Churchill" campaign, six multiplayer maps, and six weapons packs.

    Game arrived packed extremely well, with many parts inside the box wrapped in bubble wrap. The card dispenser did not work, which I wish was clear in the description—especially since returns were not allowed. Thankfully, I was able to add a small piece of rubber furniture pad on the card slide to get it working again. Our Zathura-loving child is thrilled!

    Great continuation to the series!

    I thought the graphics would be a "little" better but once you start playing you can't stop! Love it! I played the previous Sniper Elites on PS3 and the last one was awesome. SE3 had so many subtle details like the empty cartridges rolling on the ground as they are ejected, just the little things that you pick up on and say to yourself "wow". SE4 is the first game I've ever played on PS4 console. I thought there would be a significant difference in the graphics. My personal opinion was that SE4 was more cartoonish than SE3 on PS3. I know that sounds bad but it's not a deal killer. The good news, still a great game. New abilities within the game make it fun. Once I started playing, got used to some of the new control configurations I was hooked! I never get tired of this series. SE4 is ...

    Sniper is a great game......

    Sniper is Avery good game but there were some things I didn't like. You really couldn't climb on anything that was meant to climb on, meaning a true sniper could scale anything. The game limits you to what you can do. It's a typical game nothing special. No real game play or strategy to it. Graphics are real great but no real challenge. It does do the x-ray when the shot is correct.

    I loved Sniper v2, this one is better. Better graphics, more options on graphics, and some other "realistic" features.
