Has a mind of it's own at times.
This will be the 3rd time I have had to replace this thermostat. It works great until it gets a mind of it's own. You can set the temp, and sometimes the changes don't take, sometimes it will set itself 1 or 2 degrees warmer or colder than your setting. I ordered the same as I had just painted the wall, and didn't want to have to change bases, and repaint the wall to match a different base. It occasionally just stops working, and then starts working again on its own. I do have a lot of electrical issues as I am on the end of a long power run. I would not advise anyone to buy this unit unless you have no power company related electrical issues. It just isn't a very durable unit. Greatest Therostat i have ever used
I have been in the Heating Business for 40 years and have handled many different thermostats, this one is the most accurate and is within one degree. Where every you set it, it will bring the heat up to that point and it keeps it there, you don't have to wait for the temp to fall back 2 degrees for it to work like the older Honeywell and other brands to do. Good-looking and simple, but shows only Fahrenheit
We use them to replace old mechanical ones, for a multi-units building. My only complaint is, living in Canada, that i was not able to make it show Centigrade values. Simple thermostat.
This works well for a furnace that has controls on the actual furnace for heat, cool, fan, etc. All this simple thermostat does is allow the circuit to cycle the furnace. If you have a furnace that requires more than 2 wires...this will not work.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Looks nice, but it's likely to fail.
The reading was correct for the first few hours and then it changed by 17 degrees. There was no way to fix the issue. A Google search revealed this is a common problem with this model.
