Help Max - the protagonist in this Sega Genesis game who is out to create a force to prevent the evil Darksol from resurrecting Dark Dragon. In this RPG video game, fight every enemy army and kill its leader or army men to move ahead to a town or a landmark. Every battle of the Shining Force takes place in a square grid that is occupied by each unit and every unit can move up to a fixed amount of squares along the battlefield. Even if your force is defeated by the enemy army in this single player Sega Genesis game, you can bring back your allies to retry the battle. The leader of your army - Max in this RPG video game can walk around, interact with people, and even choose which army's members will be used for the fight.

    Best. Game. Ever

    One of the greatest games ever made. If you are a fan of RPGs and strategy games, give this one a try. Awesome story, great soundtrack, compelling battles that all have a different strategy

    The Shining Force is the name of the group your are in charge of; it's well picked.

    The game is an absolute classic for the Sega Genesis! The graphics are lovely, the gameplay is nice and the story is compelling!

    BEST GAME **EVER** FOR SEGA GENESIS!!

    Game works marvelous, although my controller blows. Tried to save, IT DIDN'T! So I bought some new batteries which I'm waiting for. Overall- A Thanks so much

    Cartridge is in good condition, just the the contacts needed a little cleaning to get the game running smoothly. I am happy to finally get this game, I have wanted it since childhood.
