Nice piece of kit, great delivery
I have been trying to buy one of these for months, then unusually I find a pair for sale u der the guise that you need two if you have twin carbs. This is of course nonsense, back in the day I used a colortune on my rally car with twin 40DCOE carbs having 1 carb choke per cylinder and only 1 colortune and it was perfect. Anyway, I have two now and will see how much better I can tune my MGB. The kit arrived next day and was not an issue. The modern packaging is not as long lasting as the 1980's case and I'm sure I will lose parts eventually... I would have preferred a proper case.

Colourtune has reduced in size.
Originally purchased a Colourtune in the late 80's whilst living in the UK. Needed a 2nd Colourtune to tune a twin carburetor single cylinder twin plugged motorcycle engine. The recent purchased Colourtune is approximately half the glass viewing area of the original. This reduction in size makes use of the Colourtune harder to get a clear view of the combustion process in the engine especially as the plug is recessed in the cylinder head. Although a cleaning brush is supplied with the kit no cleaning fluid is supplied. This is obviously a manufacturing anomaly rather than a supplier fault. Supplier delivered the item to New Zealand very promptly, it was well packaged and well priced. A Good Trader, I would certainly trade with the supplier again

Works as it's supposed to.
Well made product, works as it is supposed to and accomplishes what it should. A very useful tool for adjusting carb mixtures. I'm glad I have one. Wish I had a whole set of four, but can manage with just one. Instructions are clear and easy to follow.

Very good product, should have got one years ago, easy to use -with care, if you buy an earlier made one rather than new, you will get a better box to store it in,

Good as a secondary test
Great, you can see wether its blue or yellow, and its quite fun, maybe it helps to see which cylinder is misfiring. Really cheap, build quality, I think gunson has gone to the absolute lowest level of quality it can get away with. I suspect the whole kit is bought by gunson for £2 or so.

simple but good
very easy to use. saved a lot of time with this product seeing inside the engine whilst firing made setting the mixture up very easy. It could also save you money on diagnostics- seeing if it a fuel fault or ignition fault. All in all a must for any home mechanic.

Easy to use and a gret tool
The colortune does a tremendous job in getting Perfect mixture, but the build quality is somewhat poor. I am just waiting for something to break, especially the Mirror which is chromed Plastic. I am quite sure is will break at some point. But as I said - this tool as awesome. I wish I had three more so I could connect all four and do the adjustment at the same time. For professional use, the build quality is too week. I would recommend to make a kit with four 2 and 4 plugs and in stronger materials for everyday use in the workshop.

Ignition Combustion Efficiency Checking
Used the Gunson on a 70's MGB to adjust carburetor fuel air mixture. Easy to use and provided very good results. Would recommend for DIY car use.
