    Not for a beginner, more history than technique

    it is an old type pattern with templates that are hard to copy because many overlap in the insturctions.. some parts are interesting if you want to get ideas but you must have experience to make the blocks with her limited instructions. it is all done on newspaper type paper so is not the best quality of paper either. I wouldn't recommend this book for a beginner quilter unless you just want to view several blocks then search the internet to fine more user friendly techniques for making them.
