    ThimblePad - truly comfortable and effective

    I simply cannot sew or quilt with any thimble. Thimbles just don't fit well; not one has ever been "just right". Without a thimble, the eye of the needle frequently pierces the finger I am pushing with. ThimblePads leave my fingers protected and mobile. No backups into my push finger since using them because the eye end of the needle doesn't pierce the thimblepad. I don't consider them to be be of good value because even though, they are reuseable, I haven't been able to use them more than twice because the glue begins to slide around, they don't hold position after the second use. I have tried leaving them on, but they get dirty easily, and I don't want that to transfer to what I am quilting. am hand quilting a wall quilt right now, and I am already into the third package.     Couldn't function withoit these!

    I've been doing hand work since I was a kid & aways found thimbles more of a detriment than poked fingers. I've heard that the right thimble feels like your own skin. Well, ThimblePads are my "right " thimble! I LOVE how these little pieces of leather protect my dinger tips yet feel like, well, like nothing at all! The other day I peeled one off my finger at the grocery store because I forgot it was still on. Use them ovee and over & then buy ThimblePad refill sticky discs when the stickum finally wears out.

    Love these Pads

    I have used these thimble pads for many years. I cannot use a traditional thimble and these work excellent for me. I have sewn on miles of quilt binding and they never fail to protect my fingers.

    Very handy little sewing tool without the bulk of a thimble.

    These little Thimble Pads are great for sewing and needlepoint. It protects the pad of your finger without the bulk of a thimble. They are re-usable which is great. I keep them stuck to my scissors until I need to use them.
