Good sign for you!
If you are a property owner in an area where multiple signs are required, these are an ideal product for you. I have used signs similar to, or perhaps identical to, these for years and they work quite well. They last several years or more before becoming brittle (probably from UV exposure.) Shingle nails hold them up well (one in each corner and one in the center) and by the time the nail heads pull through, you may as well replace the signs, since they are so inexpensive. They don't resist gnawing animals or vandals particularly well, but nothing but metal signs do. I think these are about as practical an option for land posting as anyone will find. These are an effective way to provide notice of private property. My previous signs were about the same but the Name and address lines were centered giving more room to write. I would suggest in manufacturing the material could include some form of red pepper in the Tyvek when processed, as the squirrels seem to like taking them down to use for nest building. These signs were a good value as the few cents I could have saved at a farm and home store was off set by time and distance with free shipping to my door. Best bargain!
If you have a lot of property to be posted as i do, this is by far the best bargain. The signs will fade out eventually but are legible enough for a number of years and it is easy to unroll and write your info on it and roll it back up so you can easily carry them with you along your property while posting. I have hilly, rocky wooded terrain along my boundries with tons of property corners, so I have to post often for them to be conspicous and I'd go broke with any other sign package, or dealing treking with individual signs. This I just pre-print my name/address, and roll back upm, then walk around with the roll in one hand and the staple gun in the other and pull one off the roll as I hit each posting spot. Used these for years!
You can't beat the price of these signs thanks to this seller! They are very durable when mounted to a board or plywood. I use 12 staples going around the perimeter to hold them tight to the plywood this way the wind does not get behind the tyvek. I get about 5 years use per sign. Highly visable yellow and meets Vermont law requirements. If a person can't read these they don't want too! They are cheap and they work.
I haven't installed them yet, but I'm familiar with the durability of TYVEK. If you are expecting a decade or more from these, go ahead and buy metal. But you will get a few years out of these, depending on how you mount them and if they end up in direct sunlight. But for the cost? You simply can't go wrong. Sharpie immediately dries on it, so no problems with smudging.
