Good, clear footage and tells the story
This documentary by Doug Miller is one of the best I’ve ever seen. Documentary may not be the correct word. He collected some of the best footage of Apollo 11 from NASA Records. You hear the recordings of the astronauts, scientist, and NASA technicians. The footage is shown in succession. Back to the Moon!
On the 50th anniversary of the "giant step for mankind", it is a wonderful tribute to all involved, and an amazing hit of nostalgia for those of us who witnessed it as it happened. Newly released footage, never seen before by the public adds plenty of fresh material to hold our attention. Absolutely a great masterpiece for a documentary
This is an absolutely absorbing documentary on the moon landing. It covers the emotions of the astronauts before the trip to their return and reception back to earth. Wonderful. And the images speak for themselves with very little narration and a great music score.
