Designed to present grown-up gamers with a well-rounded cowboy adventure, Gun tells a classic Western story of revenge and rugged individualism, with the player in the starring role. Colton White was robbed of his heritage by a lifetime of lies; now he aims to take charge of his destiny and become his own man. The game's open-ended mission structure and expansive environments allow players to explore the frontier as they choose. Missions offer a variety of gameplay styles, including stealth action, precision shooting, and horseback riding.<br><br>Players can develop Colton White to be an upstanding, classic hero, who protects the innocent and follows a code of righteousness, or a vengeful loner, who best serves the frontier community by serving himself first. The game's story progresses through a series of major missions, but many side-quests allow the hero to develop skills and earn scratch. Money and other crucial resources can be gained by collecting bounties, winning at the poker table, or by less civically upstanding means.<br><br>Gun was developed by veteran studio Neversoft, previously renowned as the creator of the Tony Hawk Pro Skater series. Key characters in Gun are voiced by a number of accomplished screen actors, including Tom Skerritt, Lance Henriksen, and Kris Kristofferson. The game's story was written by screenwriter Randall Jahnson (Sunset Strip, The Mask of Zorro, The Doors).

    An attempt was made to properly package it, however paper packing material was not a good choice for shock absorbance. The card panel cover arrived damaged. Please use more bubble wrapping in the future. That aside, the console came as described, I was given a partial refund for the damage, thus the value is worthwhile. Despite the hiccup, the seller is still highly recommended & did not mean for this to happen. I recommend them & am willing to purchase from them again in the future. Thank you.

    Reasonably priced, packaged, and delivered. A used game can't get much better taken care of in quality than the item I got, other than getting it out of the shrink wrap. Purchased other games from the seller, they came as described, and all worked how they should thus far. They bundled shipping for multiple games. Thanks for a good experience.

    Doesn't work on Xbox One

    I purchased this game thi king I would be able to ay it on Xbox one. However you can't. I'm assuming it's not compatible with this console. If the newer xbox's like Xbox one S, Ibeleive your able to play this game on that system bc it has the ability to play the older games there were for the original Xbox. I love this game. It's my favorite game.

    A Shining Gem from the 6th Generation.

    The Red Dead Redemption "Prototype," if you will. 3D Open World experiences during the 6th Gen were not all that common, and still very much in their infancy. Neversoft's first crack at it is, in my opinion, a resounding success. Admittedly, and shamelessly inspired by GTA, GUN provides a similar experience, but in an Old West setting. The action & gameplay are both exciting and compelling. The story and characters are superbly written, and voice acted by the likes of Thomas Jane, Lance Henriksen, Brad Dourif, and Ron Pearlman. These actors took their roles here as seriously as any of their notable film works, and it really shows. GUN is a must play for any Western, Shooter, and/or Open World enthusiast. Just don't go in expecting the polish of OWG's from later console generations. GUN ...

    Old game with charm

    I’ve been looking for this game again for a while. I had it as a kid and wanted to revisit as an adult. It’s got good graphics for its time and you can tell it was made by the same company that made the Tony Hawk games. It’s a fun wild west game and keeps pulling me back in.

    Gun, original Xbox

    Gun was a decent game for the time it was made, however after playing red Dead Redemption 2 Gun seems very weak and the mechanics of the game are weak. I bought this game for $10, so that's a good price for an old game that was intriguing at that time.
