This was gift for my son who has really enjoyed the Dr Who experience. I began watching the first original Dr & my son started with the newest ones.

Doctor Who is my favorite show and since they don't show it on PBS I have to buy the series. It is about a Time Lord who travels through space and time in his Tardis (Time and Relative Dimension in Space.) The Tardis is shaped like a police phone box. He travels with a companion. The Depressing Doctor, but still awesome writing
We call this doctor the depressing one. After the fun of David Tennant and Matt Smith, he's kinda been an acquired taste, as we've gone along. We adore Clara's character of course, and the fun twists and turns of the plot. It's still amazing writing, and compelling stories - there just have been so many "depressing-ish" episodes this round, that we find ourselves missing the previous doctors.....Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Awesome
This show is very good, but I do need the sub-titles, which is the reason I buy the DVD's Being American we occasionally do miss something they're talking about. Enthralling Series!!
I had only just gotten into the franchise through Netflix but ever since it got taken down from the site I hadn't been able to finish when I got into the 6th season. Season 8 is creative

FUN, Sci-Fi Entertainment
I like the new (twelfth) doctor. He's not quite as energetic and silly as the eleventh; however, he is a bit more mature and stately like many of the previous doctors. Clara is still amazing; however, I sometimes get the impression that she's a bit tired or worn out, and I'm not into the extra make-up. If you're not into dark, vulgar, and/or ugly sci-fi, you'll like Doctor Who. There are story elements that wind throughout all of the new series' seasons, so you may want to start with season one.
