Der Einband weist nur sehr geringfügige Beschädigungen auf, wie z.B. kleinere Schrammen, er hat aber weder Löcher, noch ist er eingerissen. Bei gebundenen Büchern ist der Schutzumschlag möglicherweise nicht mehr vorhanden. Die Bindung weist geringfügige Gebrauchsspuren auf.     I have received this order a few days ago, well before the earliest promised delivery date. The item corresponds to the seller's description: it is in "like new" condition. The transaction was seamless.I am completely satisfied with this purchase. The only peculiar aspect is that I wrote to the seller several times, both before and after ordering, and never received a response. This is at odds with all reviews of this seller.

    Hell, I Was There!

    A great book by a great author, gun writer, and sportsman. Elmer Keith was a special person, one who lived in the right times, tough, honorable, and one to reckon with if you crossed him! A good book, hard to put down, an incredible life of an incredible man!

    Hell I was There

    The life and times of a real American gun expert / cowhand / hunting guide; who literally has done it all. He lived through hard times and became one of the best outdoor writers in existence. Its as if he's talking to you. He is responsible for significant contributions to the firearms industry. When you pick out a box of .44 magnum cartridges at Wal-Mart, it would not be sitting on their shelf, if Elmer Keith had not done the development work which led to it's introduction. Likewise the .41 magnum.

    Great read - painful price.

    This book has something of a cult following, and generally is listed at ridiculous prices. It is NOT rare, and in fact is a repackaging of Elmer Keith's earlier autobiography, "Keith." If you have the former book, this one does not add much. That said, it is a fascinating read, written in a sort of "oral history" style, covering the amazing life and adventures (not too strong a word) of a almost storybook character of the American West. There is little about the fabled O'Conner-Keith War in this volume, but it is pure "Elmer" from beginning to end. The man was a unique phenomenon and is more than worthy of spending the time needed to read through this medium length autobiography. As the normal prices for this book are outrageous, I cannot call it a "good value." However, I do ...

    Autobiographical

    Elmer Keith was bigger than life. This is a great read and gives a perspective of growing up in the early 1900s. This book is out of print and anytime you can find one for under $100 it’s a bargain.
