This has to be the fastest shipping ever. Ordered it Monday around lunch and it was at my house the next day around 2:00 I believe. The price was right and the item I'm sure was packaged correctly, however the shipping company looks like they threw it off of roof, I contacted seller through messages and they've offered me 10% returned due to the scratches and broken plastic housing. Great experience, minus the shipping carrier (come on FedEx, do better)!!!! They may right the shipper's mistake

Good tool but use with care
Overall this is a good product when you need to rough cut a large log or beam, but there are some factors to keep in mind. 1. This is better than freehand, but not by a lot. It's still possible to get off square, especially on a deeper cut. 2. The blade camp could be deeper. It's difficult to place it without it interfering with the chain. 3. Check the tightness of the clamp screws frequently, and tighten them in turn to begin with. Make sure they're both tight before you start cutting. If one comes lose and the clamp moves, it'll dig into the chain and cause a mess.Overall this is a good product when you need to rough cut a large log or beam, but there are some factors to keep in mind. 1. The one I got don’t fit a 2x6 or 2x4 board, I had to cut a 2x6 on my table saw to fit it. So I don’t know if I should return it or just keep it as it is working after do the board rail for it. I’m trying to gat some 24 foot post for a car port thought I would need to buy any boards built looks like I will have to buy a 24 foot 2x6 just to cut down to fit.

Dissapointed about the way the tool works
Level came off after 30 minutes of use The way it's made does not benefit my situation. I thought the cuts would be better than what I got. Since the item only holds the blade in one place there is not enough support to get precise cuts. The blade of the saw moves a lot while cutting thru logs. I have variances of about 1/4 to 1/2 in.

Tried it on a 2X 12" board I had used 5 years ago with another lumber maker I've lost, but because the log was small, it was hard to keep level, but when I finally got wedges in it, it worked fine,and cut me a nice plank about 2" wide-- and even through out it--should have just used a 2" x 5" board and would have been easier, but didn't have one handy--I'll use it again with that and will work better, no fault of the device--good price for what it does. I had a 1X 4" board attached to the side of that 2 x 12" so I was close to what I needed--it did wiggle slightly, for most 1 x 4" in boards you know are about 1/4" shy of that 4", so had to make up some little wedges to make it tight when cutting--keep that in mind when using this if you try just a 2x4--get a 2x6 and rip or use wedges.and ... This product works ok. I had to cut a guide piece. The 2x4 wasn't big enough to keep it very exact. Otherwise, worked for what it is
