Great backup device

Great hard drive
This slim external hard drive is quiet and easy to use. Just plug it in and there is some quick software downloads to do; and make sure you click "Safely Remove USB mass storage Device/Eject" before unplugging. Decent drive
This is a very compact external drive for backing up files. It serves its purpose well, economical, and does not take up a lot of space. It is reasonably fast, but not nearly as fast as connecting a bare 3.5" 7200RPM drive directly to SATA port on motherboard and. Great for multiple backups in the 100s of GB size, IE backing up C: every few days to a week or so. This is my second Seagate external hard drive that I purchased for my PS4. And I can say I am just as satisfied with this product as I am with my first (PC storage). It's light, compact, speedy, and dependable. Any noises coming from this product is minimal at best. Bought it as an extended storage for my laptop
Works like a charm. Very good transfer speeds. Plastic case vibrates a bit with high frequency during continuous usage. I’ve placed a small weight on top and it reduces the noise by 90 %, so now it’s completely silent (other than an intermittent tick or two from aligning the heads, which is not very annoying and completely normal). Got a 2 TB version, partitioned it so it’s also used as a TimeMachine storage, and this didn’t impact it’s performance at all.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Great value and lot of space
I just considering buy a 1TB but then i just think why not a 2Tb almost both at the same price. So I bought it and is perfect: compact, secure and very thin. I proove it several time delaying and rewriting and woks good. If you are considering buy some external memory i recommend this one. Is weightless, nice size you can use it on Mac andWindows PC. Compatible with Mac but not with Time Machine
