Great value and decent quality, does the job at half the price
Works great on adult womens bikes. For smaller kids bike such as my daughters 20" mountain bike cruiser the extention was a tad too long and fit loose, but it did hold on to her bike well. Overall they are sturdy and does the job and half theprice of name brand items.

Great adaptor!
This is a great adaptor to be able to suspend a step-through bike on a bike rack. It is easy to use, strong, and helps us to feel confident that the bike will not fall off on the road!

Easy to use
My wife has a cruiser bike which wouldn't fit on a standard bike rack on the hitch. We ended up denting and scratching the bike to make it fit. Once we bought this item, life is so much easier now. Great product.

Must have for bike racks!
With 3 women's bikes, the angles were all over, difficult to put bikes on rack and even harder to not hit the other bikes. In addition, the angles made it impossible to see my tail lights! These crossbar adapters are a fabulous solution! Easy to install, and the bikes went on easily, straight and left my tail lights visible! Perfect solution, especially with the Allen Hitch-mount 4-place bike rack I purchased!

Exactly what I needed
The Allen Sports Tension Bar works great to allow for mounting of a ladies bicycle onto my Thule bike rack. I really like the spring loaded tension on the bar so it can adjust to needed length from seat post to handle bars.

Works like a charm
I am now able to safely carry my odd shaped full suspension bike with my bike carrier. This adapter is simple and easy.

Handy invention for girls bicycle
Had a very outdated one that had way to many pieces to keep up with. This one is coated on hook side to prevent scratches but on clasp side you have to be careful or it will scratch the bicycle. Also, only other issue is trying to smash holder together and get pin through holes at the same time. You can pinch the skin on a finger or palm real easy. All in all a very invention at a great price.

Simple and effective
Simple operation requiring no tools, attaches to bike quickly, making it much easier to mount bicycles without horizontal top tubes onto a bicycle carrier.

Allen Sports Tension Bar Bicycle Cross Bar Adaptor
Best bar for the money. Also, it is made up very heavy. Some people have stated that they don't like the end pin. That wasn't no problem for me. I went to a hardware store and purchased a bolt that was long enough that would fit the holes and put a lock nut on the end of the threads. Problem with bar pin solved.

Good product.
