Book not in "very good" condition
I'm not super picky about my books, and I prefer to buy them used because of 1) price and 2) to reduce paper usage and that kind of thing. It's a good book, I loved this series as a highschool freshman and I love it again years later, but the condition the book came in is definitely not "very good" as advertised. It didn't have to be perfect, but this book is a little more on the "fair" side and it's kind of upsetting. Front and back cover are bent and have small tears, as does the spine, and a number of pages appear to be water damaged (but it's still perfectly readable, so it's not *that* big of a deal). What I find more upsetting is that several pages were stuck together by... something? and some pages have tears on the words, making it a little hard to read. Other pages are bent and dog-eared. It's a bunch of little things that add up, and frankly I'm disappointed. For $4 a book it's a good price, but false advertising is false advertising.

great story! A+ imagination
Wonderful series. The first book is the best, but the others are really good too. This is my second copy as I am giving one as a gift. Great summer read. It's "easy" in a sense that the concept is not hard and the words are not scientific. It's challenging in a way to grasp everything and it's a big book, too. I like it a lot.
