Hats off to Dewalt what a fine product!
I have utilized Dewalt cordless drills for a couple years very satisfied with their performance and reliability. I have two one used constantly for pre-drilling in installation of deck screws, the second for driving the screws that have a range of Tork drive requirements, ( size ). Recently my two old faithfuls unfortunately ended under 4 in.s of water at the bottom of a 5 gal pail utilized as a tool box. I removed the batteries drying all in direct sunlight for a day at first attempt to test one drill failed while the other ran though the light would not go out. Believing they had both been damaged I order two replacements from ebay. Then the miracle happened both drills I found fully restored after 3 days on the shelf. At first disappointed in myself having lost faith and purchasing replacements. The new arrivals have proved to be even more impressive driving screws through concrete and wood walls so smoothly and incredible control. Great Hammer Drill did the job I needed quickly and effeciently.
Great Item. Did exactly what I needed. Had to run new water lines that required drilling 1" holes thru filled concrete blocks. Had a regular Dewalt Drill, but got the hammer Drill, and it did a fantastic job Had 14" long 1" drill bit, and it went thru very well and fast. Time saver
