If your work requires either table top product shots or talking head interviews, this is a great light to have in your kit. The Mickey Mole is a 1000w tungsten quartz open face light that is focusable. The Mole reflector inside this lamp does a great job of not only controlling the spread of the beam, but evenly disperses the light without hot spots. Professional videographers with light experience know that when mated to a medium size soft-box like a Chimera or CineDome, this lamp provides a really superb soft key light. And unlike Fresnels with a soft-box, this lamp completely illuminates the entire box, producing a great, even, soft, fully diffused light that is flattering to the subject. A simple workhorse of a light.
