Worth the wait!
I was aprehsinive about purchasing this set but have to say I'm glad I did. Despite a few issues, I'm overall pleased. First point is that shipping took longer than I'm used to. It's coming from China so it took about 2 weeks. Not a big deal at all but be aware. Also, the quality of some of the films are grainy. Not enough to have any real negative impact on the experience but don't expect crisp, blu-ray quality or anything like that, especially for the older films. You get 6 discs, 17 films in all. No bonus features and the simple playthrough gives you a title screen with audio and subtitle options. Although I checked the quality on all, I haven't watched through every single one but I did notice that Totoro had different voice actors and variations to the transcripts from the original. This didn't diminish the experience but it was noticeable to me, not really the kids. And on that note, being able to share these Studio Ghibli films and the beautiful world of Miyazaki with my kids is absolutely priceless. You can't find many of these films online in the US and for the ones you can, you can't get them all at this price! So if you're ok with a bit of a lower quality, longer shipping, and slight voice variations, you should take a chance on this. Sure glad I did!

Great movies!
I love these films, and was delighted to find them in this collection for the low price! The films are great, the english dubs are very well done with big-name actors, and the packaging is very cute. The ONLY reason I took off a star is that the case is made of an unusually brittle plastic which had broken in several places during shipping, which just means we need to keep 3 of the discs in a separate sleeve since their retainer rings were busted. Aside from that small issue, the shipping time and service were great and these movies are fantastic. Would absolutely recommend to fans of the genre.

Poor Image Quality, Some Audio Missing
The price is good, there's no getting around that. However, the image quality blows. A LOT of the scenes in many of the movies are pixelated and not at all pleasant to watch. One of the best things about Studio Ghibli movies is how visually stimulating they are... with that aspect gone, the purchase isn't really worth it. Also, in Kiki's Delivery Service, much of Jiji's audio is missing... I haven't made it through all of the movies so I can't give any more info, but I definitely do not recommend buying this. You're better off watching online, the quality is much better.

There's a lot of bad and a little good
This is not the original movie set as far as I can tell. The discs were ripped by amateurs, so video quality is very low, audio quality is poor, and even though the subtitles are in perfect English, it's for an entirely different English translation. The images on the discs themselves were poorly printed and faded. That being said, if you have some young kids around, and you don't want to pay $15 to $20 per movie, this is totally acceptable. I personally wanted very crisp 1080p images that I know studio Ghibli can provide. But if you have some little kids around, this will work fine.

Great Collection!
Great collection of sought-after Miyazaki movies, all in one package! I bought one for me & one for a gift. Great price, so far so good as far as movie quality. Very happy!

This product is a clear bootleg and not an official release. Quality of the movies on each disc was very poor with blurry lines and terrible macro-pixeling. Do not buy this set. The ONLY Ghibli-authorized Blu-Ray collection is “The Complete Works of Hayao Miyazaki”. Everything else is bootleg.

Great product, compact for sure.
The movies themselves (the newer releases) aren't great quality like I hoped, but then again there's three movies on a disk so I'm not too surprised it's compressed. Love this, though! There's so many movies for just this much, and they're hard to find these days!

Some quality issues but a good purchase overall
The movies are a bit low resolution, probably to accommodate so many on one disk, but I’m glad to have this product because I now have plenty of them to watch. You will probably notice the drop in quality, but it didn’t ruin the experience for me at all.

Great item for a fair price
The main reason I got this collection is because I read that it had the original Totoro 20th Century Fox dub. It does and I am so thrilled! I have yet to watch all of the movies on it, but for the ones I have watched, the sound quality is really good. The quality of the visuals could be better, but for the price I paid, it's a super good deal. I didn't really expect it to have blu-ray quality visuals for the cheap price, so I'm satisfied with what I got :)
