    Great, but slow, read! Very informative.

    Very enlightening book. A better knowledge of the historic Jewish writings would be helpful to fully understanding some of the text, or, a brief note by the author explaining some of the Jewish references. I recognize that this was written for Jews, not for Gentiles; but, it would be helpful if the author had kept in mind that his work might also have some appeal to a Gentile. In spite of this shortcoming, it does provide an good insight into the Jewish Faith, and it's relations to Christianity. I fact, it can lead one to conclude that Christians are nothing more than "New Covenant Jews". Because it is written for Jews, it can be a "slow read" at times. For those interested in the relationships between Judaism and Christianity, I can highly recommend it. F.G.S., PhD

    Every believer should have this informative reference

    When a member of our family decided to marry into and convert to Judaism I needed immediate answers to counsel her. This is an amazing resource. Dr. Johnson gives every imaginable argument the Jew might present to deny the truth of Christianity. He is a TOP scholar but very readable and greatly informative. I pray for the opportunity to share with my precious but deluded family member. I need no other resource other than the Spirit of God and His opportunity. Amazing amazing amazing scope of Judaism in this book. The book climaxes with a profound look into the Holocaust and Judaism. That one section alone is worth the price. Now I plan to get the other two in the series.

    A fantastic book, a must read.

    A fantastic book, a must read. Gosh, I really enjoy Michael Brown's writing style and his down to earth, tell it like it is approach to G-d and the bible. This guy has done his homework on the subject. He has an earned doctorate in Semitic languages. All for the goal of thoughtfully answering objections to Jesus and the gospels raised by his ultra-orthodox rabbis. throughout this book he answers the question: Is Jesus who he said he was and, if so, how then shall we live. Great book.

    I am a Messianic Judaic Believer. I have not had a chance to read this book yet, but I have looked through it and I know it will be helpful in increasing my desire to know more in regards to studying about my "faith".

    Awesome.

    Great book, great set of books if you are willing to look at what scripture says. Brown is a PhD and understands Jewish traditions.
