If I were to lose my Collins Butterfly Guide, I'd buy it again.
Easily recommended, the Collins Butterfly Guide is an exquisite book of art. It's also a richly detailed guide that doesn't skimp on descriptive text. As a field guide, at 670g measuring ca. 19.5 x 13.5 x 2.5 cms, it's barely jacket-pocketable - you'd probably want to carry it in a rucksack. Butterflies in their larval stage are not shown.
