Genuine John Deere brand Deck Belt!
Previously I've tried/made the mistake of using Non John Deere Belts. Those "Belts" would either Shred immediately or during the next time I mowed the lawn. Not equal to OEM
In my experience most of these online belts use the John Deere part number, but they are not equal in quality, thickness of material and strength as the OEM form John deere. They break or wear out much quicker than the OEM belt. It takes about an hour to replace the belt and is getting harder for me because of my age. The OEM belt is worth the price which is up to about 2 1/2 times more than John Deere OEM belt. WORTHLESS
This belt is a total waste of time and money and should be pulled from the market. It made one lap around my lawn on my X304 before it totally disintegrated. I mean it turned to dust. See photo. Save the frustration, spend the money and buy an O.E.M. Deere belt. The one that came on my JD lasted 9 seasons doing 2 lawns.

Mower Deck Belt M154621
As I said earlier when I was asked to review the belt I had said that I had not used it yet. Well I used it today on my John Deere tractor. After about 1/2 hour the belt broke at the seam.. Can't beat OEM
Bought a pair of non OEM belts for my mower and both broke within two weeks of putting them on. Went back to this OEM belt and voila no problems. Yeah it's a few bucks more than the generic but how much is your time worth? Each time the belt broke with a generic belts I spent about 30 minutes or so taken off my old deck taking off all the covers taking off the pulleys and rethreading a new belt on. Poor quality & poor fit.
Was advertised to fit a John Deere X304 lawn mower, it did not. The belt was to long and to flexible to stay on the deck rollers. As soon as I engaged the mower blade the belt would fly off, it did this three consecutive times.
