Good add-on to Surface Pro 4
Bought for my son to use at university. He has a Surface Pro 4 he takes in to lectures and tutorials. The Surface Dock lives on the desk in his room with an ethernet connection, a USB hard drive and a wide screen monitor plugged into it. He loves the setup. The Surface Pro range isn't cheap but it is high quality.

Great replacement part
If you need to replace part of a surfacepro hub, this is excellent. Microsoft delivered a solid, wellbuilt product. More USB slots would be nice. But product delivers what it is meant to.

Excellent product - but my one was not new!
Excellent product which works perfectly, however it is not brand new as advertised. My dock came with an asset tag sticker on it indicating it has been used previously in a commercial environment.

Great dock
I bought mine to replace a non-powered dock. It tidied up my desk and works perfectly. Uses display port output for screens, rather than HDMI and this needs a different cable. Having hard wired internet gave an improvement in speed over the laptop wi-fi

Microsoft docking station
I bought the docking station as all the other hubs couldn't power up my external hard drives without causing problems so last resort was the dock and it works wonders and gives me additional usb drives so all good.
