Perfect Tool for the Job
This tool has all the crimping power you'll ever need. In fact, I over-did it on the first duct I crimped, and I had to go back and re-expand the duct end somewhat with some flat pliers. So, you don't have to squeeze these pliers very much to get the right amount of diameter reduction to fit your ductwork together. If you overdo it, you can actually create a restriction; because these pliers can create quite an angle tapered in on the end of the duct... if you go full force on the crimp. Don't do that! What I'm trying to say is, take it easy - you don't need to use very much force at all to get the job done correctly with these pliers.
