Great alternative to cable
This was not as easy a set up as it should be. And set up on most devices makes it more difficult. Advice: set it up using an android tablet or phone. Once you do finally get it connected and set up it is fairly easy to use. And once you have an antenna in a good spot its even nicer (because you can use it) This product made two of my thumb drives unusable. Its seems to work better (after set up) on my Ipad than on any other tablet or computer that I own.

Works well
Had a little issue setting it up but it is easy to use in the Sling TV app. Seems to cut down a tad on the signal for the OTA channel. On the AirTV I see there is a two bar signal on one channel and when I check my tv for the line I have going straight to the coaxial connection is 4 bars.

Nice unit with some quirks.
I does its job. Its a little quickly with integration of the channels and dvr. DVR performance has been a little slow at times. But that could be the older hard drive setup I'm using.

Great product with a few rough edges
During set up I had problems finding a hard disk that worked properly. Finally I got a WD 2TB MyBook working but it mysteriously quit working until I connected the drive to my computer, removed all the parturition sand reformatted the drive, after that it’s worked fine except for a few minor issues.

AirTV Performance
This unit is a second one that I own so I was familiar with the setup and operation. I had a couple of issues over the first two weeks where it would lose the OTA channels from the guide and required a reset and rescan. However, it seems to have settled down for the past week or so and is working good. At this time, I am satisfied with the unit.

Defective device
I loved it when it worked but it stopped working and I had to send it back to sling. It wouldn’t connect to my Router either with ethernet or using WiFi. They are replacing it

Cheap way to antenna single onto home wifi
Really clever way to get local antenna channels onto home network. The Sling TV guide integration is slick.. one would think they are part of one's Sling paid package (note a paid package is not needed).

Nice product/good value
It works great I was a little challenged setting it up and will have to spend a little more cash so I can record local stations, extra content and maybe a better antenna or better placement. But I am satisfied so far. I was wondering about what would be a good compatible hard drive with proper software and compatibility.?

It went good but missing parts.
I had to buy the missing splitter and cable that I thought came with it according to pictures I saw.

did not work till new hard drive purchased
The free hard drive did not work because it did not meet minimum capacity. I had to buy larger hard drive to make it work.
