Three of the world's most technologically impressive and efficiently deadly submarines are available for missions of conflict and rescue in EA's Sub Command. Players choose to pilot 3D rendered versions of 688(I), Akula, and Seawolf class submarines through missions set in present-day international waters.<br><br>Each submarine class is modeled with a sophistication that brings out its strengths and weaknesses over the other two. Two separate campaigns offer a wide variety of challenges, including large-scale conflicts, one-on-one submarine skirmishes, and covert missions. The dynamic campaigns progress in accordance with the player's actions, as issues and enemies that are not eliminated when first encountered may return in later missions to cause trouble or seek vengeance.<br><br>Sub Command supports multiplayer games over the Internet in which virtual commanders can battle head-to-head, or cooperatively compete against a common enemy or strive towards a common objective. Specially designed multiplayer missions include conflicts between the U. S. and Russia and secret, silent, "under the ice" operations.
