Quick Books Pro vs PeachTree Small Business
I've been using Peachtree Small Business Accounting since 1998 & currently using vs: 2006. I thought it's about time I moved to a later, newer accounting program. QuickBooks being the giant in this field, I thought I'd give it a chance. I run a small service business. I have no products or inventory, I have no payroll. All I have are receivables and payables. Pretty simple. I always thought PeachTree was to sophisticated and too much accounting program for my needs. I thought, OK go with something most small businesses are using: QuickBooks. I did not quit PeachTree cold turkey. I ran both programs simultaneously for a bit more then 2 months. I've decided that for my purposes PeachTree is a better program for me. Maybe it's because I after 18 years I know the program pretty well. But, I needed to customize a few simple things on my QB's monthly customer statement, I was unable to do it. I had my son an IT guy and QuickBooks user try to customize it for me. He was unable to do this. I called QB Support, after hrs on the phone, multiple calls and return calls, multiple supervisors. I was told it could not be done. There were a few other QB nuances I did not like but could live with. But this simple customization issue convinced me to bail on the experiment. In retrospect Intuit was genius in how it marketed QB from the get go. It targeted the accounting professionals who in turn recommended it to their clients. You now see the end result of Genius Marketing. QuickBooks may be bigger but in my personal opinion not better.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Excelent Program
We were wanting QuickBooks and this was an excellent product with a great price. We were able to get multiple computer licenses as well which is a wonderful bonus.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
