Excellent Tuner
This is a fantastic tuner. Extremely easy to use, just clamp on and go. My previous tuner either worked off of a microphone, which meant you needed quiet, or it was plugged in which meant finding a spot to put it where you can see it. Super accurate and best of all it works off of vibration so it doesn't matter if you are in a noisy environment. The visual metronome is a handy little feature as well. This is a great value and a must have for every guitar player.

BOY did I need one of these 30 years ago.
Acoustics, electrics, basses, violins, even acoustic keyboards, this little dynamo does it for me. It looks great and works like a charm. I even tune my bongos with it! If you spend the extra minute or two getting it perfect, (no movement from green) you get studio quality intonation. Speaking of which, this little guy is a MUST for setting up intonation on your guitars and basses. I don't know what I ever did without it. Get two, one for your gig bag and one for home.

Something new for a first timer
I've n ever used one of these before but it seems quite easy to use. I tuned the guitar using the tuner and then my nephew tuned it the way he does by ear. The strings on the guitar were new and he thought they should have been a little tighter. After he tuned it, I used the tuner to see what the keys were that he tuned to. He tuned everything up a little and it sounded good that way. I then wrote down the notes as a reference to check it out again later. Since this is new to me I hope everything will come naturally after a while.

The perfect tuner !!
I am 71 yrs. old and have been playing bass in country/southern rock bands for 50 yrs. and wish I would have had one of these tuners the entire time !!! I have a $150.00 K--- tuner that I was using before this one, but it has been put away!!! I am cray about this little tuner and I can leave it on the headstock of my bass and check my tune a any time !! I fully recommend these tuners !! If you need a new tuner get one of these, you will be glad you did !!! JRS- Georgia

Best tuner
I have a snark for every guitar. I have used iPhone app tuners and a few various other tuners I even have a built in timer on my acoustic guitar. The snark is by far the best. It is easy to use for a quick perfect tune every time. If your a guitar player the you need one.

Excellent tuner
I am enjoying my new Snark tuner. It is easy to use and small enough to store right in the case. I like it because it is visual and easy to see. When the note is spot on the letter lights up and there are no colors on either side. For me it replaces a couple of other box like tuners that were good, but not as easy to use as this one. Tom

Wow, that was easy!
Newbie to guitars and have had friends tell me how hard it is to tune them properly. Use the Snark SN-8; just clip it to the top of the guitar by the tuners and turn it on, pick a string and then turn the tuner until the proper pitch is registered. I guarantee that it is just that easy. Completely happy I lucked out and got this tuner. Now if only I could play better...

Great little tuner
These tuners work quite well. I like the tight tuning on this Snark better than other tuners. I have about 5 of these now that I use with various instruments. The tuner is easy to read with the bright display. Sharp is to the right and flat is to the left side of the green "in-tune" bar. That seems to be more intuitive to use than some tuners that are opposite.

Fast and easy to use
This tuner fits well on my mandolin, is easy to see, and responds fast anc accurately to changes in tuning. It was a good buy.

Easy to use and practical
This tuner will be a perfect start if you are learning to play guitar, I got it for my 7 years old child and he is using it before every practice it also identifies some chords which makes it easier for my kid to learn them. The display is visible from various angles and has a compact design as well.
