Visit ANNE OF GREEN GABLES - THE MUSICA
ANNE OF GREEN GABLES, though a failure in its original London run and never given a run on Broadway has found its home where Anne's tale is told: Canada. We are lucky to have this bright recording by the Charlottetown Festival 1980's cast. ANNE OF GREEN GABLES IS A tuneful, charming musical that abounds with heartfelt melodies and clever lyrics. This is a fitting musicalization of the classic novel. My favorite songs are GEE I'M GLAD I'M NO-ONE ELSE BUT ME, ICE CREAM, SUMMER and the dynamic song about learning: OPEN THE WINDOW.
