Great flexible kit
The M113 is one of the most prolific armored vehicles of the post world war two era. This highly detailed kit is the best "basic" M113" kit inside and out. I used to call an M113 home while serving in the US Cavalry. The kit reflects a Vietnam era vehicle where the M113 earned its reputation as a workhorse. The kit comes with US and West German decals and can be built to reflect Vietnam or Cold War scenarios. Detailed interior, engine and crew figures make this a fun and historically accurate kit. The market is not short of detailing add-on's and modifications to allow the modeler great flexibility. True it is an "older" kit, but it's attention to detail make the kit "timeless" .

tamiya M113 with figures
An older kit from tamiya, but a very good kit. The kit is molded very clean with little to no excess plastic flash. The kit is molded in dark green plastic, with soft plastic rubber tracks. Very easy to assemble. The crew and additional figures are designed for a Vietnam war theme/diorama. This kit is the basic base model for several other tamiya armored kits, The Fire Support Vehicle (FSV), Heavy Mortar Carrier (M106a1), Command Vehicle (M557), Armored Cav Vehicle (ACAV). Overall the kit is great kit.
